Off the floor and our purpose

Jessie Newton met Murray in the middle of 2016 when he shared his passion for indigenous issues. Murray has spent countless hours assisting indigenous communities and children in order to stop them from falling through the gaps. He currently works closely with the community of Numbulwar. One of his current projects involves giving students the opportunity to visit Victoria for 10 days with the hope of inspiring them to complete their education.

Jessie shares Murray's passion for education, particularly through the creative field. Currently, she has been working on the creation of an aspiration program for rural victorian students through the Macpherson Smith Rural Foundation so broadening this passion for education was a natural path. The two have paired to created off the floor with their first leg of the program, ANGA MAMALANG commencing soon. Murray’s empathy and passion for trying are the life-force of this program. This is where the Off the floor story starts.
